HOPE HOLIDAY

March 29, 2014 marked the one year mark from the date of diagnosis. I renamed that date this year as HOPE HOLIDAY.

It's been a while since I've written. I've been a busy bee.

Kevin, KJ, and I went to Kentucky the weekend of 3/28 to celebrate with my besties and family. My friend, Elizabeth, made a scrumptious caked shaped in the breast cancer symbol. We had a splendid time.

I am so very grateful to have had the opportunity to celebrate my hope holiday @home in KY with everyone. I had a blast! I can't wait to get back again at some point this summer. It was special for me to spend this time with so many of my friends and family who made multiple visits to Georgia last year to care for me. I will never forget the love and care rendered to me then and now! I have some rockin' friends and family.

The following weekend Kevin, KJ, and I took a quick trip to Orlando. We visited Sea World, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot. It was the kind of trip that required a vacation after the vacation (LOL)! Funny how often I thought of my stamina during that trip & even when worn out -- I couldn't stop getting my "Disney" on ..... :-D!

Thank you Lord for progress ..... for healing and living in the present. CC
