In October, I was honored to have been recognized by the Atlanta Braves as a recipient of the Diamond of Hope Award.
I'm always extremely humbled and honored to receive recognition for what ultimately seems like the only thing to do after
a breast cancer diagnosis.
Fight, Fight, Fight against "it".
by
building awareness, making a difference through fundraising efforts for various non-profit organizations and offering hope
to those who continue to fight every day.
This disease is one that can cripple hopes and dreams of not only the men and women undergoing treatment but also
seeps into the lives of co-survivors.
This award is preciously named because I would like to be able to give a glimmer of hope to others. If not through my actions, then
I hope my words encourage and inspire.
